I’ve had quite a few of my lovely clients ask for some Shake Recipes so I thought I’d better do some! I saw this one advertised at the Monbulk Aquatic Centre one day so I thought I’d modify it slightly to make it healthier. It caught my eye as it has two of my loves together caffeine and bananas. Plus it’s high in protein due to the milk and the almonds. Great one for the morning to get you firing for the day!
- 1/2 cup preferred milk (I use almond milk but do whatever floats your boat)
- 1 tbsp of almond butter (or peanut butter)
- 1 x shot of coffee (or a tsp of instant mixed with a lil hot water)
- 2 x handfuls of ice
- 1 x banana
- 1 tsp maple syrup
Blend away until its all nice and smooth like a milkshake. I serve mine over more ice too.
